Juan Mejia
Joining the Tourism and Environmental Department along with his colleagues Leticia Caminero and Nathalie Santos, headed by Mr. Enrique De Marchena Kaluche Esq., Managing Partner of the firm. Mr. Mejía focuses his practice on Environmental, Administrative and Energy Law with vast experience as consultant in the installation of projects, environmental permit and license processing as well as environmental litigation.
Education:
He is a graduate in Law from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic) with a Masters Degree in Environmental Policies and Management from Universidad Carlos III (Madrid, Spain) and diplomas in Environmental Criminal Law, Environmental Law and Management and Alternative Conflict Resolutions.
Highlights:
Mr. Mejía assisted as legal technician in international claims for environmental damages, has acted as environmental consultant for industrial restructuring, adaptation and cleaner production and as consultant in environmental licenses and permits compliance.
For the past 7 years, Juan Mejía was an invaluable member of the Ministry for theEnvironment´s legal team.
