DMK Abogados-Central Law Celebrates its Fifteenth Anniversary
DMK Abogados – Central Law celebrated its fifteenth anniversary with a cocktail that took place in the Anacaona room at Jaragua hotel.
The celebration was hosted by the Managing partner of DMK Abogados-Central Law, Enrique De Marchena Kaluche, along with Jesús Almanzar Rojas and Sergio Federico Olivo, partners at the firm. Central Law’s president Rafael Quiroz also attended, as well as other representatives of the firm in Central America and Panama.
DMK ABOGADOS was established in 1992 in Puerto Plata. Its main area of expertise is commercial or business law, focusing on foreign investment. The firm has acquired a leadership position in the tourism and real estate fields, as well as in the environment and wind energy areas that is acknowledged in the nation and worldwide.
DMK ABOGADOS combines a vast experience in Dominican legal practice with its knowledge of American and European business practice, which has allowed the firm to provide its local and international clients with quality legal services.
In the opening speech, Enrique De Marchena Kaluche, remembered the beginnings of the firm and thanked every client and person who trusted and supported him in the beginnings.
De Marchena said that, for the next fifteen years, the company will be run following the paths of the 21st century, with a modern vision, typical of new times, when the person who stands out is the one that provides the most efficient service, with the highest quality, in the shortest possible time, strictly meeting professional ethics.
He added that, in order to achieve this objective, the firm relies on a staff of professional multilingual lawyers, graduated from prestigious universities, with knowledge of different specialization areas and several jurisdictions. The services of the firm will be provided in Santo Domingo, where the main headquarters are located, in Puerto Plata, and in Las Terrenas, Samaná.

During the event, an institutional video of the firm was presented, telling the story of the company during these 15 years. Immediately after that, Rafael Quiroz, president of Central Law, carried out the presentation and launching of CENTRAL LAW, a regional law firm present in all the countries of Central America, Panama and Dominican Republic, of which DMK Abogados is a pert of.
In the anniversary celebration, commemorative plaques were awarded to Mr. Louis Snelders, Derek Elliott, Juan H. Díaz and José Loinaz, the first clients of the firm 15 years ago. Furthermore, a donation was made to the Asonahores Foundation as part of the firm’s social responsibility program.
