Dominican Republic in the Eye of International Investors
The latest transactions of international companies at local level evidence that the country is the in the eye of mayor foreign investors, according to the director of the CEI-RD, Eddy Martínez.
Martínez said that in general the investment environment in Dominican Republic “is comfortingly positive” since the investment flow keeps growing, “which is a sign that we have a really positive business environment” and that the country “is finding its place in the world map regarding investment flows”.
The CEI director explained that the growth in the investment flow as compared to 2005 (2005 was better than in 2004 and 2003) has increased, this year, by about 20–30%. These figures allow us to consider that “Dominican Republic has become one of the most attractive”.
